I'll never be a blogger

It's hard to believe that I started this bog over 7 years ago and even though I have only a handful of posts, it is still alive on the web.  I suppose it's true - once you post something on the internet, it's there forever.

I just finished a new stone yesterday.  It is an amethyst cut as a Gram Princess.  It turned out very nice and bright.

Maybe - just maybe, I can be a bit more diligent about posting pictures of my finished gemstones here.  I make no promises, though.

Sadly, I have found that whenever I need a part for my faceting machine, I need to find a company that offers precision metalworking. Your best bet would be to find someone local and provide them with an index wheel they can use as a template so they can reproduce a 96-index for you with the proper keying. Be prepared to spend $$$. Since the Lee is so old, though, you might just be better off buying a newer faceting machine that has ll of the parts you need. Sorry so long for the reply - I don't often look at this page as you might have already guessed.
